STAFF OVERVIEW

Housing Support Workers: Ash Pike

Admin Worker: Chris Gardener (Wed)

AHAG employs two Housing workers and one part-time Administration Officer. Supported Housing Ltd provides an additional Housing Information and Referral (HIR) worker one day per week.

AHAG also has a case management position which is 3 days per week.

AHAG is governed by a Committee of Management (CoM). The Coordinator manages the day to day affairs of the organisation and CoM focuses on its strategic its direction. The CoM meets on a monthly basis and its membership includes people who have a range of community skills and experience, particularly in the HIV and Housing sectors. There are currently seven members; five are elected from the general community and one is nominated by PLWHA Victoria. The Coordinator is an ex-officio member.

AHAG receives its core funding from the Victorian Department of Human Services under SAAP (50%) and Health Protection - Blood Borne Viruses (35%). In addition AHAG receives Housing Establishment Funds (HEF) from Supported Housing Ltd to assist people needing assistance with private rental of removals.
